Jen’s Journey

Ok so here is my budget for June, it looks better than I thought, and might even been alittle more on my paycheck, I have a 401K loan but they haven’t started taking this out yet, so usually my two paychecks total 5000 but I want to be on the safe side so I’m listing it as 4700, I will get some extra funds from some commissions, but I never can count on those each month so my budget changes monthly. Also, we traded in our car, I know this is the last thing we should have done, but with our embroidery business and two kids, and the fact that we used to have two cars and now only rely on the one car, I wanted to make sure it was going to be fine for the next 3 - 5 years. Especially since our credit will be in the tank for the next 2 -4 years. Thus I won’t have a car payment until July.

We usually are in the neg with our checking account each month, but by not paying our credit cards this will help fix that, give us some breathing room and get us back on track we hope.

Well I will have to figure out how to get my budget here and post it later as it doesn’t seem to be working right now.  Will get back to it soon!

Well I’m getting closer to the due dates I’ve started all my files so I can keep track of all the paperwork and create a log for all the calls I’m sure to be getting. So I think I’m ready, but on the flip side, I still can’t quite rein in our spending, I’m going to try and start focusing on that so I can put more money into the settelment fund. It just seems as we get money, it goes to something not very useful. So in this journey I need to really start nailing down the reasons why were spending so much and put that to a stop.
