Jen’s Journey

Well I’m back from vacation, and it was awesome! I’m still exhausted but back at work. Alittle a good news, spoke with Countywide and sent in my info to another dept. (man they make this hard - their first dept couldn’t assist us, but they have another dept that might be able to) so might know something from them in a week or so. Also, our embroidery company is starting to get some business, we were waiting for a order from the school and just got that today, plus spoke with another school who liked our shirts and is going to place a large order for shirts for the kids. So business is finally picking up and with no major events in the next few months, I’m really keeping my spirits up that we can make some serious progress. We don’t really do lots for Xmas, only a few things for our boys, so that should be pretty inexpensive. So with the 2nd job, and our business, things might work out. Just hope we can figure out the house, don’t really want to have it go into foreclosure but not really sure what other options we have.

Anyway, I’m in good spirits, and refocused now. Let’s hope I stay that way!

whoohoo, so were finally getting ready to leave for vacation, we are going on a cruise that we had paid for before all this happened, so this will be our last vacation for awhile until we can get everything under control. I’m so excited, we need some time away, I need some time, just to regroup and refocus so it will be awesome! Also I went yesterday and had my interview and got the job for the X-mas season, I could be working up to 70 hours a week, 10 hours a day, 7 days a week, not sure when I’m going to sleep, but as I work from home, my normal regular job, isn’t that busy after the 10th of Dec so I might be able to sneak in an hour or two during the day, we’ll see. I will be working the day after Thanksgiving until 12/31 but if I do work that much should be able to put about $4k from this job into our DS account to start working on another card. I got that amount using the 70 hours a week. Not really sure how much they will need me so won’t know until it’s all said and done, but any funds I get from this job are going straight into our DS, I really want to get working on a second credit card. I did make my second payment to our 1st card we worked the settlement out, so two more payments and that one will be done. Making progress but it’s really slow.

House update -

Well I submitted our letter and finances to our 1st lender, if they decide to work with us then I think we can stay in this house, the 2nd will just have to accept the payments I can afford until we are in a better position. We haven’t paid them either but they aren’t willing to work with us, but the 2nd is 70K so if they wanted to try and foreclose they wouldn’t get their money anyway it would all go to the 1st, so I believe they will see it’s in their best interest to accept what I can pay and then once we are in a better situtation work it out with us. Of course this is all dependent on the 1st agreeing to do what they say, (which is put us in a fixed rate, and add our missing payments to the end of the loan so we can start fresh and make the payments starting in Nov) not sure if it’s going to happen, but keeping my fingers crossed.

Well that’s it for now, won’t be able to update until we get back but I’ll for sure be ready to deal with it all after a vaca!
